“Spider-Man” co-stars Zendaya and Tom Holland are officially engaged, according to family sources.
The confirmation came after Zendaya appeared at the 2025 Golden Globe Awards on Sunday, sporting a large diamond ring on her left-hand ring finger. Holland, however, was not present at the ceremony.
A family source confirmed to People magazine that the couple, both 28, got engaged over the Christmas and New Year’s holidays. Another source close to the couple shared that those close to them had been aware that an engagement was imminent, noting that Holland had long been eager to propose.
“He’s always been crazy about her,” the source said. “He always knew she was the one. They have something very special.”
While the engagement is official, the couple is not rushing into marriage. “They will just enjoy things for now,” the source said. “They’re both busy with work, and Tom has always had this sweet way of letting the world know Zendaya is his. Now, it’s official — she really is.”

Holland and Zendaya are set to return for the fourth Spider-Man film, which will begin filming this summer. The two first met on the set of 2017’s Spider-Man: Homecoming, where Holland played the iconic superhero Peter Parker and Zendaya portrayed his love interest, MJ.
They also reprised their roles in Spider-Man: Far from Home (2019) and Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021). The couple is also slated to star together in Christopher Nolan’s upcoming film The Odyssey.
