DANVILLE — Construction is still waiting to happen more than six months after the Danville City Council approved construction of a third cannabis dispensary, Casey’s truck stop, quick-service restaurant and the potential for other development on farmland south of the Interstate 74 and Lynch Road interchange.
“We are continuing to work with Casey’s and the utility providers on civil and building plans for permit so that we can begin construction. Since this is a large development of current farmland, the pre-planning for infrastructure will take some time. We look forward to opening our doors as soon as we can,” according to Laura Jaramillo Bernal with nuEra cannabis dispensary.
Construction continues to move along at Vermilion and Fairchild streets.
