The Lake County Treasurer’s office is offering a free financial literacy class for teens at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 19 at the Willowick Public Library, 263 E. 305th St.
Treasurer Michael Zuren will give a financial literacy presentation aimed at middle and high school students, according to a news release.
Attendees can learn how to make smart money choices, create a budget, and develop strong saving and spending habits. The session will also show how educational success connects to career and life success while helping people plan for their future, the release stated.
This interactive presentation lasts one hour and includes a budgeting game to see who can finish first.
