Joe Alwyn‘s neighbors once called the police on him, and he thought he was going to jail.
The Brutalist actor detailed the incident during a silly question game on the latest episode of The Drew Barrymore Show, revealing that he was 8-years-old when he decided to play a prank that almost instantly went awry.
"When I was about 8 years old I thought it would be a fun idea to prank the neighbors. And I wrote some letters. They were pranky but they were of the threatening-pranky kind, and they were dipped in fake blood from a toy store."
Alwyn noted that he and his brother ran home thinking the prank was successful…until they looked out the window and saw the road riddled with police.
Despite his brother taking the majority of the blame, the actor remembered a policeman scolding him for pranking his neighbors.
"I don’t remember what the policeman yelled at me but they yelled."
