The Beanpot is back with the four major Boston, Mass., college hockey teams. The four-game tournament features two semifinal matches, a consolation game and the championship.
Boston University, Boston College, Harvard and Northeastern are the four squads featured in the annual tournament dating back to 1979. This is the 46th year of the competition.

Northeastern women’s ice hockey has won the previous two Beanpot championships and enter this semifinal with a 13-6-1 record. The Huskies will face the 14-6-1 Boston College Eagles.
Boston University has a relatively easy matchup against Harvard. The Terriers are 13-6-1, while Harvard is just 2-12-2.
The semifinal rounds will be played at Matthews Arena, which is home to the Northeastern hockey teams. The championship game will be held at TD Garden, home of the NBA’s Boston Celtics and NHL’s Boston Bruins.
