Notes: Oklahoma is getting set for its first ever SEC basketball tournament as the Sooners prepare to take on the Georgia Bulldogs in the opening round. The Sooners are coming into the tournament on the heels of back-to-back wins over Missouri and Texas to complete the regular season. Those two wins were crucial for the Sooners NCAA Tournament hopes, who now find themselves with a little bit of a cushion on the bubble. But, one more win would enhance the Sooners résumé even further, and increase their odds of receiving a bid on Selection Sunday. Wednesday night will mark the second time the Sooners and the Bulldogs have faced off this year. The first meeting came back in January, when the Bulldogs defeated the Sooners 72-62 in Athens. Oklahoma will be without its senior big man Sam Godwin for the second straight game, as he makes his way back from an MCL sprain suffered against Missouri.
