Cancel all of your appointments, sports fans — you’re going to be busy on Monday.
On Oct. 28, 2024, NFL, NBA, MLB and NHL teams will be in action, marking the 31st sports equinox in history. The headliner will be Game 3 of the World Series between the Yankees and Dodgers, but there will be several other events worth monitoring on Monday night.
WATCH:NFL, NBA and more on sports equinox with Fubo (free trial)
The Giants and Steelers will meet in Pittsburgh for the final NFL contest of Week 8. If you’re interested in watching basketball and hockey, you can choose from the eight NHL games and 11 NBA games on the schedule. That’s not all: MLS is in action Monday, too.
Here is everything you need to know about the sports equinox, including a full list of TV channels and live streams for NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL and MLS games.
A sports equinox takes place when teams from all four major North American sports leagues (NFL, NBA, MLB and NHL) participate in games on the same day. This year’s edition also features MLS, which has two playoff games on tap. Oct. 28 will likely be the only sports equinox this year unless a World Series game is postponed and moved to a date that matches the NFL schedule.
The first sports equinox was recorded in 1971, and the most recent sports equinox occurred on Oct. 30, 2023.
Games will be spread across multiple networks and streaming services. Fubo is a great streaming option, as it gives subscribers the ability to watch NFL, MLB, NBA and MLS games on Monday night.
For a limited time, you can get your first month of Fubo for as low as $59.99, a $20 savings. Stream ESPN, ABC, CBS, Fox, NBC and 200-plus top channels of live TV and sports without cable. (Participating plans only. Taxes and fees may apply.)
National TV and streaming options are listed below. NBA and NHL games also are available regionally via RSNs and Fubo.
