LA CROSSE, Wis. (WXOW) – 18 different employers greeted students at the Western Technical College Business & I.T. Career Fair on Thursday.
The event helps students consider their career options and connect with potential opportunities, said Katie Griffing, the Western Career Services Associate.
“It’s a great opportunity for them to do some networking, especially as they get close to graduation and start looking for job opportunities, just to get a feel for what current opportunities are out there and where they might want to apply.”
The event ran from 11:00a.m. – 1:00p.m.
Other career fairs highlighting other programs at Western are scheduled throughout the year.
There was also a clothing event going at the same time that community members could check out.
