In the coming year, NDA will have a big role to play in the electoral battles of Delhi and Bihar. According to senior sources in the BJP and JD(U), the former is looking at its Bihar-based allies – the JD(U), Lok Jashakti Party (LJP), and others – to join forces for the Delhi Assembly election to woo the politically significant voters from Bihar’s Poorvanchal region. “Not just campaign, talks are on to let the JD(U) and LJP fight on certain seats where they have ground support in Delhi,” said a source in the BJP.
