At the halfway point of the 2024-25 KHSAA basketball season, Courier Journal readers can vote on the boys midseason basketball player of the year.
The poll closes at 6 p.m. Jan. 21, and the winner will be announced Jan. 22.

Here are the nominees:
Sophomore Ja’Rye Brown is top 15 in the state for scoring, averaging 25.8 points. He also averages 4.8 rebounds per game for the Lions.
Senior Malachi Coleman is averaging 21.9 points per game, shooting 61.4% from the field and 48.1% (37 of 77) from beyond the 3-point line.
Senior Julian Miles is averaging 21.3 points per game and is shooting 51% from the field and 40.6% (52 made 3-pointers) from beyond the arc.
Senior Prince Kahnplaye is averaging 19.2 points and 5.6 rebounds per game for the Chargers.
Junior Jeremiah Jackson leads the top-ranked Tigers with 13.8 points per game and four rebounds.
