The Hanford City Council meeting for Tuesday has been canceled. Instead, the council will come together for their first meeting of the new year on Jan. 21.
A few items planned to be on the agenda for that meeting include an update on the planning of the Civic Auditorium anniversary ceremony, the adoption of a resolution formally establishing a Measure H Oversight Board, and a discussion on changes to council compensation.
The council may also discuss why the city has chosen to close its comment sections on social media after the matter was requested for consideration by Vice Mayor Travis Paden at the council meeting on Dec.17, 2024.
