And who can resist that? Not even your enemies, according to President-elect Donald Trump, who is hawking his “Fight Fight Fight” line of men’s and women’s fragrances.
In a Truth Social post on Sunday, Trump shared a picture of himself having a pleasant exchange with first lady Jill Biden with a tongue-in-cheek caption: “A fragrance your enemies can’t resist.”
The photo was taken Saturday at the reopening of the gothic masterpiece cathedral Notre-Dame in Paris where they were seated one seat apart.
The duo’s smiling visages stood in stark contrast to the months of acrimony and bitter takedowns on the campaign trail, where Trump said her husband, President Joe Biden, was “thrown out like a dog” after he withdrew from the race amid a chorus of criticism about his presidential debate performance.
Biden has been quick to offer an olive branch to the president-elect, meeting with Trump for nearly two hours in the Oval Office just one week after defeating Vice President Kamala Harris to win a second term as president. First lady Jill Biden gave Trump a handwritten letter to deliver to his wife, Melania Trump, who did not join her husband for his post-election visit to the White House.
It has been customary for the first lady to host tea with her successor. In 2016, Michelle Obama hosted “a tea and a tour” with Melania Trump in the Yellow Oval Room, located in the White House residence.
The Trumps did not host the Bidens in the White House after Joe Biden won the presidency in 2020, nor did they attend Biden’s inauguration following the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol and Donald Trump’s false claims the election was stolen.
In a video describing his perfume, Trump says they make a great Christmas gift.
“I’ve named them fight, fight, fight because they represent winning. We all wanna be winning. We have to win,” he says. “This fragrance is all about strength and success and confidence for men and for women.”
“Fight” was one of the first words Trump mouthed after he survived an assassination attempt in Butler, Pennsylvania. The words have graced many Trump products from T-shirts and mugs to gold coins.
