Former Carson Wagonlit Travel technology chief Andrew Jordan has joined Travelport as its new chief product and technology officer.
Jordan joins the tech specialist and GDS from Element Materials Technology, where he was responsible for driving the company’s technology, innovation, and cyber strategies.
He brings 25 years experience to Travelport having formerly led the transformation of CWT, a $27 billion travel management company into a “digital-first platform business”.
Travelport said Jordan’s appointment “marks a reinvigorated focus on delivering best-in-class products and technology to simplify the complex travel ecosystem”.

Jordan’s career also includes a stints as senior technology leadership roles at NEP Group, NBCUniversal, and Thomson Reuters.
He was a co-founder and CTO of Beyond Analysis, a software solutions and data science business, and CIO of dunnhumby, the former data science division of Tesco.
At Travelport he will oversee the product and technology development 2025 and beyond, as the company looks to “simplify travel retailing while delivering cutting-edge solutions that meet the evolving needs of suppliers, agencies, and travellers”.
