A tragic news is coming from the Disneyland, where an employee has died after suffering head injuries in a golf cart accident.
The accident occurred on Wednesday (June 5) around 11:30 AM (local time). As per Anaheim Police and Anaheim Fire and Rescue personnel, they arrived to the area of West Ball Road and South West Street after a collision backstage was reported, according to the Los Angeles Times.
The Disneyland employee, who has been identified as Bonnye Mavis Lear, a 60-year-old Fullerton resident, suffered a head injury after falling from the moving golf cart. She was taken to the local hospital in a serious condition.
Two days after she was hospitalised, Lear passed away on Friday due to injuries.

Police has told the media outlets that this was an accident and no drugs or alcohol are suspected. The cart driver wasn’t injured.
Condoling her death, Ken Potrock, president of Disneyland Resort, said in a statement, “We are heartbroken by the loss of Bonnye, and offer our sincere condolences to everyone who cared for her.”
She added, “At this time, we are focused on supporting her family and our cast members through this tragic event and making sure they have the resources they need.”
