Thursday night, the Texas Tech soccer team got goals from Peyton Annen and Kaitlyn Giametta to secure a 2-1 win road win over Kansas State. Tech moves to 8-2-1 on the season and 3-0-1 in Big 12 play.
The game was scoreless until the 25th minute when Annen found the back of the goal after a deflected corner kick. However, the lead lasted only briefly as KSU would tie the game 14 minutes later.
Fortunately, Giametta had the answer just 57 seconds later. Scoring her fourth goal of the year, she slammed home a loose ball for the game-winning goal.
