Euphoria’s Sydney Sweeney shared a heartwarming look back at 2024 on her Instagram, including throwbacks with friends and a rare photo locking lips with fiancé Jonathan Davis.
Sydney Sweeney left 2024 feeling euphoric.
In fact, the HBO star closed out the year with a fabulous photo dump highlighting her favorite parts of the year. And one of the memories she shared was a rare photo of her and fiancé Jonathan Davino sharing a passionate kiss, surrounded by of a group of their friends.
“The last few days of 2024,” Sydney wrote in the caption of the Jan. 2 Instagram post, alongside a series of throwback photos featuring moments with loved ones and even a group karaoke sesh, “will forever be some of my favorite.”
The Anyone But You actress and the restaurateur got engaged in 2022, though the duo prefers to keep their relationship a bit more lowkey. In fact, Sydney has previously shared insight into why she adores dating someone outside of the public eye.
"I don't date people in the spotlight," she told Cosmopolitan in 2022. "I don't date actors or musicians or anyone in entertainment because I can just be normal Syd that way and it's easiest. I have a great support system. I have people who will battle for me and allow me to be on the pedestal and shine without making me feel like, Oh no, I'm shining too bright and I need to step back."
And though Sydney has since kept their wedding plans to herself, she has been busy preparing for the big day, including making a stop at a Los Angeles bridal store. After all, she’s been planning for this moment nearly her whole life.
"I started making that when I was like 10," Sydney told Glamour UK of her wedding Pinterest board in 2023. "I'm more of an experience planner, so I'm like, ‘What experience do I want to give people? Are we going on a tropical vacation? Are we doing a carnival?'"
But before they take that big next step in their relationship, the Immaculate actress had a few rumors to quell—specifically those indicating that Jonathan pays for everything.
“I’m a very successful, independent woman who’s worked really hard,” Sydney told Glamour in October. “I’ve accomplished and bought everything myself, and I provide for myself and my family.”
"I would love to set the record straight,” she added. “You can be in a healthy relationship with someone and also be very successful without needing the man. We’re teammates. We’re in it together. And we want to see each other succeed.”

When asked about what she looks for in a partner, Sydney explained: "I look for a best friend. I need to be able to be with someone who I can literally hang out with 24/7 and never get sick of and we laugh every single day."

The power couple, who produced Anyone But You and Immaculate together, held hands after a romantic dinner in Paris.
"It’s really great to work with someone who knows you so well, who fully supports your ideas, your vision and your voice…", Sydney told Glamour UK about their working relationship.
