SURPRISE, Ariz. — A man has died after he was stabbed in Surprise at Fuzzy’s Sports Grill on Friday in Surprise, according to authorities.
The Surprise Police Department said a suspect, who was restrained at the scene by others at the grill, has been arrested in connection to the incident.

Police identified the victim as 29-year-old Logan Metcalf. He was rushed to the hospital for treatment, where he later died, police said.
Daniel Nassar, 33, has been arrested in connection to the incident. Nassar was restrained at the scene of the stabbing by several people at the grill.
Police said Nassar is facing a second-degree murder charge.

12News spoke to witnesses who jumped into action to help the victim. One of those people was Linda Rucker, who was eating at the grill.
About seven people rushed outside to stop the attack.
“It was a brutal attack,” Rucker told 12News. “I was dialing up 911 then I saw the knife.”
Rucker’s waiter rushed outside to stop the attack.
“He did a leg lock, flipped him over and held him down,” she said.
According to restaurant staff, Nassar was reportedly a former employee of Fuzzy’s Sports Grill.
The investigation revealed that Nassar had a history of conflicts with Metcalf, police said.
