League One Volleyball is coming to Louisville in 2025.
The LOVB finals are scheduled April 10-13 at the KFC Yum! Center to conclude the league’s inaugural season.
“While scouting locations for our inaugural LOVB finals, we knew we needed to look no further than Louisville and the KFC Yum! Center,” Rosie Spaulding said in a news release. “As a hotbed for youth and collegiate volleyball, Louisville consistently brings a high level of excitement from fans far and wide to our sport, and the City is a consummate sports and entertainment host.”
The LOVB Pro League features 17 Olympians and multiple international stars from more than 20 countries.

The Whitefield Academy girls basketball team has started its season with eight straight wins, five of which were by more than 40 points.

Outside hitter Brooklyn DeLeye and setter Emma Grome recently were named 2024 AVCA All-Americans.
DeLeye was one of four finalists for Player of the Year. She averaged 4.87 kills per set with 531 kills and hit .294.
This is the fourth time Grome was named an AVCA All-American. She was named the 2022 SEC Player of the Year and received first-team All-SEC honors during her Wildcats tenure.
St. Xavier catcher Danny Jaso recently committed to Rose-Hulman.
Jaso had 14 hits and nine RBIs in 56 at-bats last season for the Tigers.
