After facing Grandview on Friday, Dec. 27 in a rematch of the 2A state title game, Lynden returns to the court against last year’s 1A state runner-up Annie Wright. The Gators are 1A state contenders once again after starting the season with a 6-0 record.
Western Washington will celebrate its 2012 men’s basketball national championship team at halftime by inducting them into the Viking Hall of Fame. Besides watching the team being inducted, fans can also watch an exciting Western team with an 8-4 record face an evenly matched Alaska Anchorage squad with an 8-7 record.
Anyone looking for a cold fresh start to 2025 can register for the Birch Bay Polar Bear Plunge. Those brave enough can make a splash into the bay in the morning, warm up inside the WECU Warming Tent and receive free hot cocoa and a warm bowl of chili. Registration is free and opens at 10 a.m. while the plunge starts at noon.
