On Sunday (June 30), it was reported that veteran Bollywood actor and politician Shatrughan Sinha is admitted to a hospital days after sustaining an injury at his house. The concerning news comes a week after his daughter Sonakshi Sinha’s wedding with Zaheer Iqbal.
The actor-turned-politician is admitted at Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai for a routine check-up. As per reports, the actor suffered an injury at his home just two days after his daughter’s wedding.
As per news agency IANS, there is no confirmation when Shatrughan will be discharged from the hospital, it is said that the actor is currently stable and under observation.
There is no official confirmation from Sinha’s family yet. As per the report of Times Now, the veteran actor has been admitted for a routine check-up after he suffered a rib injury at his residence. Earlier this week on June 25, Sinha got hurt in his ribs after he tripped in his dining room. He was casually getting up from his sofa when his feet hit the carpet’s corner and luckily Sonakshi was right there to hold him immediately.
A source says, ”You will find Shatru most of the time on the same sofa at the same spot. He loves to sit there and see the news on TV. Most of his interviews too are conducted there only.”
Medical attention was called immediately and he rested for a day at home. However, due to pain in his ribs next mourning, his doctor advised him hospitalisation for check-up. The reports have claimed that there is no surgery involved.
As per the report, Sinha’s best friend Pahlaj Nihalani has been visiting the actor regularly. Giving an update on the veteran actor’s health, he told the news channel, “Yes, Shatru ji is in hospital. But he is absolutely fine now. He should be back home by tomorrow (June 1) evening.”
