In exclusive video obtained by E! News, Selena Gomez—who announced her engagement to Benny Blanco in December—showed off her ring to Martin Short during the 2025 Golden Globes.
Seems like there’s only celebrations in the building.
While attending the 2025 Golden Globes in Los Angeles Jan. 5, Selena Gomez—who was nominated for both Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series – Musical or Comedy and Best Supporting Actress – Motion Picture at the event—showed off her engagement ring to her Only Murders in the Building costar Martin Short.
In exclusive video obtained by E! News, Martin grabbed the left hand of the Disney alum—who announced her engagement to music producer Benny Blanco in December—and took a closer look at the marquise-cut diamond ring while the pair chatted. In addition to the wide grin that Selena donned during the conversation, the 32-year-old also rocked an off-the-shoulder powder blue gown.
But Selena and Martin weren’t the only ones who discussed her recent engagement. In fact, Golden Globes host Nikki Glaser mentioned the couple during her opening monologue earlier in the night.
"Selena Gomez is here—double-nominee tonight for Emilia Pérez and Only Murders. And she's here with her new fiancé Benny Blanco," she said from the stage as the camera panned to the pair laughing and anticipating the joke to come. "And Benny Blanco is here because of the genie who granted him that wish. Man, lucky guy."
And it isn’t just laughs that Selena is sharing with the 36-year-old—they are also planning to share lives filled with love.

"Forever begins now…," Selena captioned her December Instagram announcement alongside a photo showing off her ring.
Benny also chimed in, commenting on the post, "Hey wait… that’s my wife."
Earlier in the year, Selena took to Instagram again to gush about her now-fiancé when she celebrated his birthday in March.
“Your emotional endurance, positive disposition, unbelievable talent (that blows me away), undeniable humor and loving, kind heart absolutely kill me,” Selena wrote in the Instagram tribute. “I love you @itsbennyblanco.”
