The existing Boys & Girls Club, out of frame right in this view, won’t be affected.
Plans began brewing in Greenwood about three years ago for an affordable housing development on a vacant site at <a href=https://goo.gl/maps/GFsjbDF1QAwpbMob7″ target=”_blank”>8601 Fremont Ave. N., immediately south of the Boys & Girls Club. (That building will remain untouched.) Bellwether Housing owns the south parcel, and Encore Architects is designing the now 53-unit project.
