Actor Saif Ali Khan has successfully undergone surgery and is now out of danger. Doctors at Lilavati Hospital continue to closely monitor his condition. Doctors have confirmed that Saif Ali Khan has been moved to the ICU following his surgery and is currently in recovery.
He is expected to be discharged within two days, IE reported. Khan was injured in a knife attack by an intruder at his Bandra residence in Mumbai during the early hours of Thursday. The incident occurred around 2:30 am, leaving the actor with multiple injuries, some of which required immediate medical intervention.
Police officials reported that an unidentified person broke into Khan’s home, leading to a scuffle between the intruder and the actor. A video showing Kareena Kapoor Khan talking to staff at her residence apparently after the attack has also surfaced.

2. The incident took place inside the children’s room of the residence, according to India Today. The report further cited sources as saying that the watchmen did not see anyone breaking in.
3. Khan has reportedly sustained six injuries, two of which were deep, including one near his spine. A report by Hindustan Times quoted Dr Niraj Uttamani, COO of Lilavati Hospital, as saying, “Saif has six injuries. One is closer to his spine and another on his neck, which is being evaluated.” However, according to a statement from Kareena Kapoor Khan’s team Saif had an injury on his arm for which he is in hospital. “The rest of the family is safe.”
4. A doctor at Lilavati Hospital, speaking anonymously to HT, revealed that a piece of the knife was found in Khan’s body during preliminary assessments. However, the actor’s ability to move his limbs indicates that his spine remains unharmed.
5. The Bandra police have launched an investigation into the incident and are probing how the attacker gained access to the actor’s home. Authorities have yet to confirm whether the attack was part of a robbery attempt.
6. Both Khan’s public relations team and Kareena Kapoor Khan urged the public and media to refrain from speculation. “It is a police matter. We will keep you updated on the situation,” read the official statement.
