HOUTZDALE — Williamsburg’s LeeAnna Royer needed 12 points entering Thursday’s game against Moshannon Valley to eclipse the 1,000 career point mark.
The junior knocked down a 3-pointer with 6:54 remaining in the third quarter off a pass from Regan Prough to reach the milestone as the Lady Blue Pirates had no trouble with the Damsels in a 56-21 victory.
Royer finished the night with 17 points to lead the Pirates, while Levada Gorsuch also reached double figures with 16.
Williamsburg, which led 21-2 after one quarter and 33-9 at the half, improved to 12-3 on the year.

The Lady Scarlet Dragons, which trailed by five after the first quarter, used a 29-14 scoring edge in the second and third stanzas to pull ahead.
Marah Dickson canned three shots from 3-point range as part of her game-high 13 points for Central.
