Washington will co-host Front Office Sports Today with Baker Machado
NEW YORK — Front Office Sports, the leading multi-platform media and news organization covering the business of sports, today announced veteran sports broadcaster Renee Washington is joining the company as a multi-platform host. She will serve as an on-camera personality and anchor the organization’s flagship daily show, Front Office Sports Today, alongside Baker Machado, who joined FOS earlier this year.
Washington has appeared as a sideline reporter or analyst on ESPN, Fox Sports, NBC Sports, SNY, FloSports, and many other networks. She most recently led Peacock’s coverage of the U.S. Olympic Team Trials for Mixed Doubles Curling.
Washington was an NCAA Division I soccer player and three-time All-American at La Salle University. She went on to earn her master’s in educational leadership from Lehigh University.
“Renee is a vibrant and engaging on-air talent,” said Dan Roberts, Editor-in-Chief of Front Office Sports. “Alongside Baker, she will help bring our multimedia content to new heights and deliver the same level of exceptional journalism produced in our newsroom. We believe Baker and Renee have a chance at becoming the leading on-screen duo in the business of sports.”
“From playing sports to covering them, I’ve always been intrigued by the business of leagues, teams, athletes, and brands,” said Washington. “I’m thrilled to be joining so many talented reporters at FOS and excited to take fans behind the scenes of the biggest stories in sports.”
Washington’s addition comes as FOS builds out its portfolio of shows and video content, including Front Office Sports Today, Next Up with Adam Breneman, and Redefined with Leslie & Arielle, along with additional projects in development set to launch later this year.
