ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – Chase Chrisley, the son of Todd and Julie Chrisley from the reality television show “Chrisley Knows Best,” is facing a simple assault charge after an incident at a Buckhead sports bar on Monday.
An employee at Twin Peaks off Piedmont Road NE told police that around 7:35 p.m., Chrisley became very drunk, acting “disrespectful and belligerent,” according to the police report. The employee asked him to leave multiple times, but 28-year-old Chrisley refused, allegedly slapping the employee’s face twice.
By the time police arrived, Chrisley had left, the report said.
“Chrisley Knows Best” aired on the USA Network from 2014 to 2023, following the family of Atlanta-based real estate giant Todd Chrisley. “Growing Up Chrisley,” a show based on Chase and his sister Savannah, also aired from 2019 to 2022.
Todd and Julie were convicted of federal charges related to bank fraud and tax evasion in 2022. Todd was sentenced to 12 years in prison and 16 months on probation, and Julie received seven years in prison and 16 months on probation.
In 2024, the Chrisleys appealed their sentences.
