The Board of County Commissioners of Garrett County, Maryland will accept sealed bids for and on behalf of Adventure Sports Center, Inc. for the following parcels of real property that have been declared for sale.
Adventure Sports Center, Inc. (ASCI) operated a man-made Olympic standard white water rafting and canoe/kayak slalom center located on Wisp Mountain adjacent to Deep Creek Lake in McHenry, Maryland. ASCI opened in May 2007 and was the third pump powered artificial whitewater facility built in North America.
Improvements: Amphitheatre
Improvements: 2-story Administration/Retail Building (+/- 9,008 SF) with a large retail area, offices, changing rooms and showers.
Pump House; Boat Storage Building; Pavilion (+/- 4,300 SF).
Bids will be accepted for the purchase of all three (3) parcels with improvements as a package deal for a combined total of 18.48 acres.
A minimum bid amount of $2,000,000.00 is requested for these parcels of property. The successful bidder will also be responsible for the site survey, deed preparation, transfer fees and closing costs.
Bids are due May 9, 2024 by 1:30 P.M. (Local Time).
