The buzz on social media is all about the teaser of ‘Empuraan’. Within a short span, the much-anticipated teaser garnered millions of views, creating a wave of excitement among fans. Adding to the hype, a big surprise was revealed—Prithviraj himself has penned the theme song for the film, while the vocals have been rendered by none other than Indrajith’s daughter, Prarthana.
This marks the first time Prithviraj has written lyrics for a song, making it a special milestone in his career. The music for the theme song has been composed by Deepak Dev. Prarthana, who has previously sung for films, is no stranger to hit tracks. Her popular songs include ‘La La La Laettan’ from the film ‘Mohanlal’, starring Manju Warrier, and ‘Thaarapadhamaake’ from the Anna Ben-starrer ‘Helen’. She has also made her mark singing in Telugu and Hindi. Fans are raving about the theme song, with many commenting on how stunning it is.
The teaser for ‘Empuraan’ was unveiled by Mammootty during a special event. It was released in multiple languages, including Malayalam, Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, and Kannada. Directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran and written by Murali Gopy, the film is set to hit theatres on 27 March.
Fans are eagerly awaiting Mohanlal’s return as Khureshi Ab’raam, a character that has sparked immense curiosity. Announced in 2019 following the massive success of ‘Lucifer’, the film began shooting in October 2023. The project spans over 20 international locations, with key scenes filmed in the UK, the US, and Russia.
The film boasts a stellar cast including Manju Warrier, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Indrajith, Fazil, Saniya Iyappan, Prithviraj, Naila Usha, and Arjun Das.
