The 2024-25 Premier League table promises to be tight from top to bottom as some almighty scraps will take place over the next nine months.

There are so many big questions circling the season, as the new boys look to make their mark, giants aim to kick on and the newly-expanded Champions League format could cause plenty of issues.
We revealed our picks in the link below, when it seemed clear that Manchester City, Liverpool, and Arsenal would be a cut above the rest. Whoops (so far). Chelsea are flying, and now Nottingham Forest, Newcastle United, and Aston Villa are in the mix of a convoluted and hard-to-predict top-four fight. And fifth place might also qualify a club for the 2025-26 5UEFA Champions League.

There are plenty of other storylines. Andoni Iraola’s Bournemouth have looked solid, but Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United have been stop-start in their bids to finish in the European places. Right now? Both are still very much stopped and in the bottom half of the table.
The three new boys — Leicester City, Ipswich Town, and Southampton — were the favorites to be relegated and indeed are in the bottom three. Everton, Crystal Palace, and Wolves are all within three points of 18th place as there really isn’t much between about 8-10 teams in the Premier League. This could have the makings of an epic relegation scrap.
