Henry Chassaignac has been promoted to chief executive officer of Zehnder Communications.
He replaces agency founder Jeff Zehnder, who has been named chair of the board.
Chassaignac has been president/executive creative director of the firm since 2016.
During that time, he led the agency’s expansion into Nashville, Tennessee, and Rosemary Beach, Florida, offices; achieved five years of the company’s most profitable years; and oversaw Zehnder’s conversion to an employee stock ownership plan.

HRI Communities and HRI Management have made several key leadership changes.
David Abbenante has retired as president of HRI Management after 28 years with the company.
He is being replaced as president by Tonya Hall, who joined the company last year as director of mixed financial operations. She has 14 years of experience in property management.
Debbie Taullie has been promoted to senior vice president. She has 35 years of national experience in both residential and commercial management.
Steve DeLong will expand his role as chief financial officer of HRI Communities to include chief operating officer responsibilities.
Carey Slocum has been promoted to senior vice president of development finance for HRI Communities and Dimitria Williams has been promoted to senior development project manager.
David Gaines has joined Harris, DeVille & Associates as a partner.
Gaines has more than three decades of experience in strategic leadership, with a track record in government affairs, marketing and communications. He previously served as executive vice president and chief external affairs officer for Ochsner Health.
The firm also promoted Michelle Hultberg to managing director and Alisha Prather to director, Louisiana.
