Tommy Costales and Andrew Palumbo have been hired by the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center.
Costales is the assistant director of information technology. He has more than 25 years of IT and process improvement experience, including a stint as as vice president of information technology for Rouses Supermarkets.
Palumbo is the director of security. He spent more than 25 years with the New Orleans Police Department, working his way up to the rank of lieutenant. Palumbo commanded the special events section in the Field Operations Bureau, developing and executing operations plans for events such as Mardi Gras, Sugar Bowl, NBA All Star Game, Essence Music Festival and the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival.
Eboni Saurage has been named as the dean of the Division of Nursing and Allied Health at Baton Rouge Community College.
Saurage has more than 15 years experience as a surgical technology educator. She has served as an assistant professor and director of the surgical technology and sterile processing technician programs at BRCC.
She earned undergraduate degrees in surgical technology and health science from Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady University and a master’s in academic administration and a doctorate in health care education, both from Nebraska Methodist College.
