CASPER, Wyo. — At its regular meeting Monday, the Natrona County School District board of trustees approved a district staff request to remodel the business office at the Central Services Facility.
The remodel would update and create a more efficient and customer service–friendly space at the building at 970 N. Glenn Road, according to a memo from the board’s infrastructure planning committee to the trustees.
“The remodel would direct the inflow of visitors to a single point of contact upon entering the department,” the memo stated. “The remodel will also allow for a quieter work environment to increase efficiency and work-product.”
The $120,000 for the project would come from the district’s capital projects fund.
The project would include replacing all current furniture and partitions, adding necessary electrical updates at a cost of $15,000, replacing carpet at a cost of $15,000, and painting at a cost of $15,000.
The remodel would occur in May and June.
