Mifflinburg, Pa. — There will soon be a new place for coffee lovers to get their fix, as Dunkin prepares to open a location in Mifflinburg.
The Dunkin restaurant will be located at 310 East Chestnut Street at the former Hometown Eatery. Contractors were seen recently working on the building. The building, which once served as a fast-food eatery location, is already outfitted with a drive-thru window.
A spokesperson for Dunkin said the expected opening date of the Mifflinburg location is Jan. 21.
Lewisburg in Union County also has a Dunkin location on North Derr Drive. Other locations in the Susquehanna Valley region include one in Sunbury, Selinsgrove, and Middleburg.
Dunkin, which specialized in coffees and donuts, was founded in 1950 in Quincy, Massachusetts. Today, the chain is the largest coffee and donut brand in the U.S. with more than 13,000 locations, according to the website.
