WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – A public input meeting is being held about the Optimism Oasis Sports Complex.
The New Hanover County NAACP is holding a session every 4-6 weeks for the public to give feedback on the 20-acre sports complex.
The facility would be built along Bess Street and McRae Street behind the Boys and Girls Club.
The meeting will be held on March 27 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the First Baptist Missionary Church located at 520 N. 5th Avenue.
