FARGO — Midco Sports, the media entity that televises Augustana hockey, has laid off David Brown and other well-known TV personalities.
Sources have told The Forum that Brown was among those cut.
“To say I was blindsided would be an understatement. I poured my heart and soul into Midco Sports for the past 11-plus years and I wouldn’t trade the experience for anything,” Brown said on X.
Midco, in a statement from Paige Pearson Meyer, vice president of corporate communications, to Forum Communications, said those employees who were let go could be used in a freelance capacity.
