Some Democrats joined House Republicans in passing a resolution Wednesday that urges Michigan high school sports officials to ban transgender girls from female youth sports.
The resolution urges the Michigan High School Athletic Association (MHSAA) to align its transgender athlete participation policy with President Donald Trump’s February executive order, which aims to ban transgender women from female sports across all educational levels.
