A veteran of the building materials space, with more than 20 years of experience, Michael Kaspar currently serves as regional vice president in the Commercial Division of Beacon Building Products. A Fortune 500 company, Beacon is the largest publicly traded distributor of roofing, waterproofing and related exterior products in the United States and Canada. Founded in 1928, the company has more than 8,000 employees and 530 locations.
Kaspar’s work has spanned the East Coast, including the downtown revitalization of numerous Long Island business and recreational districts. Over the years, Kaspar has been involved in supplying commercial materials to various New York sports venues, including the Barclays Center, UBS Arena, Citi Field and Yankee Stadium, to name a few.
Kaspar credits his success to his ability to network and develop strong partnerships, and he believes that success is all about teamwork. He has extremely strong relationships with national developers, contractors, architects and builders. A native Long Islander, Kaspar and his team host a charity golf event at The Vineyards Golf Club in Riverhead every year, which brings out the who’s who of the commercial construction industry. All monies raised are donated back to Catholic Health of Long Island.
