MEQUON — MEND studios, which opened in Brookfield in 2021, has expanded to Mequon. The massage studio opened last month.
The businesses’ therapists are trained in 11 different types of massage therapy:
– deep tissue;
– trigger point;
– myofascial release;
– cupping;
– hot stone;
– Swedish;
– relaxation;

– lymphatic drainage; and
– prenatal.
MEND offers massages in 30-, 60-, 90- and & 120-minute durations with 100% of that time being hands-on work, according to its website.
The company also offers corporate wellness programs, tailoring solutions to enhance employees’ well-being as well as improve overall productivity, moral and company culture.
The company is owned by Nadin Bailey, who has been practicing massage therapy for over four years and graduated from Aveda Institute of Beauty and Wellness in April 2016.
She earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in contemporary dance from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and said that, during her time in dance and massage, she has acquired knowledge in various techniques. In her sessions she use these techniques to cater to her clients’ needs.
