Marilyn Pearl Ulrich, 92, passed away peacefully on January 5, 2025 at The Greenfields in Lancaster, NY.
Marilyn was born on May 1, 1932 in Sinclairville, NY and was a long-time resident of Cassadaga until she suffered a stroke in 2013. She was a graduate of CVCS Class of 1949 where she enjoyed being a cheerleader. Marilyn loved her jobs as a waitress at many local restaurants, greeting her customers with a smile before becoming Bartender/ Manager of Frawley’s Tavern for many years. She was also an entrepreneur before her time as an Owner/Operator of both Ulrich’s Mobile Home Park and the Cassadaga Variety Store proudly maintaining each. She will be remembered by many as someone who always enjoyed working, had an unforgettable laugh, and was always smiling and singing while she worked.
As the matriarch of her family, her children will remember her as a hardworking, dedicated, loving mother, who always brought fun to family gatherings. She also loved to spoil her grandchildren with laughter, games, and treats.
She was predeceased by her parents, Jirles Simpson and Pearl Frick, all her siblings; Jirles (Bud) Simpson, Hazel Deangelo, William (Bill) Simpson and John Frick, as well as her beloved son-in-law, Tim Boberg.
She is survived by her children: Roxanne Pulitzer, Pamela Ulrich, Keith (Janice) Ulrich, Ken (Krista) Ulrich, 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held at a date to be determined. Memorials may be made to the Cassadaga Volunteer Fire Department.
