10.54am 17th December 2024 - <a href="https://golfbusinessnews.com/news/courses/">Course Development</a> <br>The Manor House Golf Club in Wiltshire is reinvesting back into its golf course this winter as it moves ahead with several major improvement projects.<br>The Manor House has invested back into several course improvement projects this winter, costing more than £75,000. Already nearing completion, a further seven holes will join the club’s ongoing greenside irrigation programme, cutting down on the need for hand-watering by making water delivery more efficient and slashing wastage.<br>The club is accelerating with its major sustainable bunker renovation project that promises to elevate Clive Clark and Peter Alliss’ acclaimed course, while a woodland clearance project behind the 12th green aiming to encourage Hazel Dormice back onto the land is also underway.<br>All projects are being undertaken as part of the club’s commitment to sustainability across all areas of the estate. Earlier this year, the Wiltshire venue became one of a select group of UK golf clubs to achieve GEO Certification in recognition of its environmental efforts.<br>Owned and managed by Exclusive Collection, The Manor House has seen 80 new members join the club in 2024, and membership renewal rates hit 95 per cent.<br>Golf club manager Andy Ryan said: “As golf continues to boom, we are delighted that so many of our members have chosen to renew their memberships for next year.
