BENTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WSBT) — Police are looking for a suspect who smashed a gun case at Dunham's Sports in Benton Township.
This is according to our reporting partners at WSJM Radio.
The Sheriff's Department says the man went into the store around 10 a.m. Sunday, put on a mask and broke the glass to get handguns.
When workers began to respond, the man ran off without taking a gun.
This is the second attempted robbery at this store in the past six months.
Two men were charged back in December for kidnapping the store manager and stealing two large coolers filled with guns.
