Madison LeCroy revealed how her Southern Charm costar Craig Conover is doing in the wake of his breakup from Paige DeSorbo and the advice she gave him amid the surprising split.
Madison LeCroy has Craig Conover's back in the wake of his breakup from Paige DeSorbo.
Over a week after the couple of three years officially called it quits, Madison revealed what she told her newly single Southern Charm costar.
“I don’t need to give him any advice," the 34-year-old shared during a Jan. 9 Amazon Live while answering fan questions. "I just told him, ‘You’re going to be a great husband, you’re going to be a great dad one day. You have so much to look forward to, like, just be lucky you didn’t already have those things and then go through a breakup.'"
In fact, Madison hinted that the Bravo exes actually aren't on as bad of terms as fans might think.
“I’m here to hype him up when he’s down—and I’ll do that for anyone really," she continued, adding, "But, they’re still good and I think everything’s going to be fine. I think you guys are taking it a lot harder than they are."
Madison's insight comes several days after Craig broke his silence on the split and hinted he might have been blindsided by the Summer House star.
"This has all been very, very unexpected, to say the least," the Sewing Down South founder shared to his Instagram Stories Jan. 7. "I was very shocked and it's ok, it takes two people to be in a relationship. You can't control other people you can only control how you react to it."
Craig, 35, noted he's "still processing everything," adding, "I mean, three-year relationship, it's your best friend who you talk to all day, every day and then they're just gone. So one day I'll be able to talk more on it but right now I just wanted to thank everyone for their kind messages."
As for Paige's side of the story, she insisted "no one did anything" in particular to cause the breakup and vehemently denied cheating on either of their parts.
"I think we both were just being really mature and saying what we want and what we didn’t want," the NYC-based influencer explained during the Dec. 30 episode of her and Hannah Berner's Giggly Squad podcast." And I think that’s extremely powerful to be able to voice how you’re feeling in real time and what you want for your future.”
The 32-year-old also only had kind words for Craig despite their romance ending.
“I think he is one of the best people I’ve met in my entire life,” Paige noted. “I will remain the biggest fan of him and want the best for him, and he truly will get the best because he is the best.”

Craig Conover Addresses the Split
Over a week after the breakup news went public, Craig shared his side of the story.
"This has all been very, very unexpected, to say the least," Craig said in a video shared to Instagram Jan. 7. "I was very shocked and it's ok, it takes two people to be in a relationship. You can't control other people you can only control how you react to it."
That said, Craig also wants everyone to extend grace to his now-ex.
"I'm still processing everything, which is normal, I mean, three-year relationship, it's your best friend who you talk to all day, every day and then they're just gone," he noted. "So one day I'll be able to talk more on it but right now I just wanted to thank everyone for their kind messages."
