Both the Loyola boys and girls returned home to battle it out against Arlee. And both teams worked the court and got the dominate win over the warriors.
MISSOULA, Mont. – Loyola celebrated a sweeping victory at home against Arlee, with both the boys’ and girls’ teams securing impressive wins.
The boys’ team triumphed over the Arlee Warriors with a decisive 80-36 victory, maintaining their undefeated status in conference play. From the outset, Loyola controlled the game, entering halftime with a commanding 60-26 lead over Arlee.
Ethan Stack led the Breakers with 18 points. Rey Johnston, the Gatorade Player of the Year, made a strong return to conference play after recovering from an ankle injury, contributing 13 points.
The girls’ team also showcased their dominance, allowing Arlee to score only one point by halftime, leading 48-1.
Spencer Laird, a sophomore with offers from Montana State and the Lady Griz, led the Breakers with 28 points. Addie Nault added 19 points to the team’s impressive performance.
Loyola’s victories marked a successful sweep in Missoula.
