LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Louisville Business First and WDRB News on Monday announced a news-sharing partnership aimed at better informing and engaging their readers and viewers.
Through this partnership, the two local media outlets will share content with one another, broadening the amount of business news WDRB brings its audience and boosting economic development, government and breaking news coverage for LBF.
Readers of LBF will see reports from WDRB at LouisvilleBusinessFirst.com, and WDRB viewers can get select LBF content at WDRB.com and within the 11 hours of live newscasts aired daily on WDRB, the WDRB News app and WDRB+.
“Louisville Business First is unmatched in its ability to dig into stories that impact our local business community,” WDRB News Director Jennifer Keeney said. “We are thrilled that this partnership will allow us to provide additional in-depth reporting on issues that are important to our viewers and readers.”
WDRB and LBF had a similar partnership years ago and both news teams are excited about working together once again.
“In my nearly 20 years in the local journalism market, I’ve always enjoyed and respected WDRB’s reporting,” said Shea Van Hoy, editor-in-chief at LBF. “The news team at Business First feels this partnership will aid both outlets and give our readers more content to supplement the business coverage we provide daily. We’re very happy to be working with WDRB moving forward.”
