It also saw a big reemergence of the Oklahoma City Thunder as one of the best teams in the NBA and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander becoming one of the league’s biggest stars. A lot happened in Norman, with the University of Oklahoma softball team winning its fourth straight national championship before OU entered its first season in the SEC.
The Oklahoma State football team saw some highs and lows, beating Arkansas in a big matchup against an SEC foe before ending the season with a nine-game losing streak.
