Long Island Business News has announced the winners of this year’s 2025 Health Care Hero awards.
LIBN created Health Care Heroes to recognize excellence, promote innovation and honor the efforts of individuals and organizations making a significant impact on the quality of health care on Long Island. The winners were selected by the editors of Long Island Business News.
Health Care Heroes are presented in the following categories: Advanced Practice Provider, First Responder, Health Care Innovation (organization and individual), Lifetime Achievement, Management, Mental Health, Nurse, Physical Therapist, Physician and Senior Care.

“The 2025 Health Care Heroes go above and beyond to improve the quality of health care on Long Island. They work tirelessly to make a difference in the lives of others and demonstrate strong empathy, compassion and listening skills,” said Suzanne Fischer-Huettner, managing director of BridgeTower Media/Long Island Business News. “The accomplishments of this year’s honorees are incredibly noteworthy, and we are honored to celebrate these outstanding members of the Long Island health care community.”
The winners will be honored at a breakfast celebration on Feb. 28 at the Crest Hollow Country Club, 8325 Jericho Turnpike in Woodbury. Registration, networking and a breakfast buffet begin at 9 a.m., followed by the awards program at 9:30 a.m. The event hashtag is #LIBNevents.
There are various sponsorship levels available, which include the right to use the event logo, multimedia marketing, a table to share with co-workers and guests at the event, and much more.
