The master use permit arrived in January, after some four years of planning, for the first of two apartment buildings proposed for the vacant, fire-damaged Rainier Mall property. And this week came the land sale for the south building, to be developed by Lake Union Partners at 4238 Rainier Ave. S., on the corner of South Genesee Street.
