The creator of Good American acknowledged that “timing is everything” as Lamar appeared at her door with a set of red roses in the teaser, which also saw Kim Kardashian hint at a new relationship.
In the footage, Khloe mentions: “I don’t know this person anymore,” while her mother Kris Jenner tearfully discloses, “That was the love of her life.”
Nonetheless, not all viewers were touched by the encounter. A Reddit user shared a snippet of the teaser, venting frustration with the words: “Khloe needs a break. Her life has been too dark and tough too long. If this is a stunt it’s misguided. If it’s not a stunt I feel like khloe needs a five year vacation,” reports The Mirror US.
Another chimed in saying: “This is f—— sick. If you don’t have a storyline, cancel the show. Feels so unnecessary and creepy of the family to produce this.”
An additional response included someone confessing their own shock: “Yeah I was shocked by this too.”
Khloe and Lamar’s relationship has been tumultuous from the start. They initially crossed paths at Ron Artest’s party in August 2009 and rushed into an engagement just weeks after meeting.

However, their relationship fell apart amidst rumors of Lamar’s substance abuse, leading Khloe to file for divorce in 2013. The sportsman confessed to battling cocaine addiction and infidelity.
Khloe and Lamar’s divorce papers were inked, but in July 2015, Lamar experienced a near-fatal overdose in a Las Vegas brothel. He was immediately taken to the hospital where he suffered 12 seizures and six strokes.
Lamar’s heart failed twice at the hospital, and his loved ones were advised to brace for the worst. He spent four days in a coma.
Khloe retracted the divorce petition so she could make medical decisions for Lamar. Once Lamar recovered, their divorce was finalized in December 2016.
