Credit union donates to Greenwood schools
Indiana Members Credit Union presented a check for $1,500 to Greenwood Community High School as part of an ongoing school spirit debit card program.
The partnership allows Greenwood fans the opportunity to show their school spirit and support the athletic program by signing up for a Greenwood Woodmen debit card. Every time the card is used as a signature-based transaction, Greenwood athletics benefits. The more cards that are in use, the larger the contribution.

Hickory Creek earns 100% deficiency-free survey
Hickory Creek at Franklin, located at 580 Lemley St., has received a 100% deficiency-free survey from the state. These Indiana Department of Health surveys are conducted annually through unannounced visits that include a comprehensive assessment of the facility’s compliance with state and federal regulations and guidelines.
A 100% Deficiency-Free survey is the highest rating a nursing care home can achieve, indicating the facility is meeting or exceeding the required standards put in place.
Survey inspectors examine adherence to resident rights, safety guidelines, staff to resident ratio, cleanliness, infection control, accuracy of medical records, a check of policies, and review of the services provided. Most importantly, resident treatment and their overall quality of life are investigated, often including interviews with residents and their family members.
