During a press event for her new movie ‘Atlas’, Jennifer Lopez clapped back at a reporter who asked about her and Ben Affleck’s relationship. “Is your divorce with Ben Affleck real? These rumors? What is the truth?” asked the reporter. Lopez’s ‘Atlas’ co-star, Simi Liu, immediately replied, “Okay we’re not doing that. Thank you so much guys, we really appreciate it.” The ‘On the Floor’ singer then leaned in and looked directly at the reporter to say, “You know better than that.” “Don’t come in with that energy, please… Jen is a producer on this movie and the reason why I am here and why Sterling K. Brown was in this beautiful movie is because Jen cares. And Jen cares about things like representation and diversity, and she’s a boss,” said Liu. Lopez then concluded by saying in Spanish, “Thank you. No one asked me anything in Spanish but okay” and blew the crowd a kiss. Her and Affleck’s marriage is reportedly “not in the best place at the moment,” a source reportedly told People. According to other sources, the couple has also been living apart recently during this tumultuous time in their marriage.
